On Some Properties of $c$-Frames

In this paper we discuss about $c$-frames, namely continuous frames. Since, $c$-frames are generalizations of discrete frames, we generalize some results of discrete frames to continuous version. We explain some results about relations of projections in Hilbert spaces and $c$-frames to characterize these frames. Also, we will specify (precisely) the synthesis and frame operators of Bochner integrable $c$-frames. Finally, we classify Hilbert-Schmidt operators by $c$-frames and express some new identities for Parseval $c$-frames.     

Pseudo‐differential operators in a Gelfand–Shilov setting

We introduce some general classes of pseudodifferential operators with symbols admitting exponential type growth at infinity and we prove mapping properties for these operators on Gelfand–Shilov spaces. Moreover, we deduce composition and certain invariance properties of these classes.     

Applications of ‐invariant distributions

In this sequel to the article 17 , a criterion for the regularity of fundamental solutions of differential operators with positive symbol is proved in analogy to Hörmander's criteria, see 9 , 12 . It implies that the temperate fundamental solution of the operator is not regular. Furthermore, a formula for the convolution of two ‐invariant distributions is presented, and, finally, L. Schwartz' question on the surjectivity of linear partial differential operators with constant coefficients on the space is completely answered in the case of ‐invariant differential operators.     

Flag Hilbert schemes and moduli spaces of torsion plane sheaves

We find certain relations between flag Hilbert schemes of points on plane curves and moduli spaces of one-dimensional plane sheaves. We show that some of these moduli spaces are stably rational.     

A note on the convexity of ruin probabilities

Conditions for the convexity of compound geometric tails and compound geometric convolution tails are established. The results are then applied to analyze the convexity of the ruin probability and the Laplace transform of the time to ruin in the classical compound Poisson risk model with and without diffusion. An application to an optimization problem is given.     

A new method for exact solutions of variant types of time‐fractional Korteweg‐de Vries equations in shallow water waves

The current article devoted on the new method for finding the exact solutions of some time‐fractional Korteweg–de Vries (KdV) type equations appearing in shallow water waves. We employ the new method here for time‐fractional equations viz. time‐fractional KdV‐Burgers and KdV‐mKdV equations for finding the exact solutions. We use here the fractional complex transform accompanied by properties of local fractional calculus for reduction of fractional partial differential equations to ordinary differential equations. Asymptotic behavior of solutions to space‐time fractional diffusion‐reaction equations

This article discusses the analyticity and the long‐time asymptotic behavior of solutions to space‐time fractional diffusion‐reaction equations in . By a Laplace transform argument, we prove that the decay rate of the solution as t→∞ is dominated by the order of the time‐fractional derivative. We consider the decay rate also in a bounded domain. Classification of edges using compactly supported shearlets

We analyze the detection and classification of singularities of functions $f={\chi }_S$, where $S?{\mathbb{R}}^d$ and $d=2,3$. It will be shown how the set ?S can be extracted by a continuous shearlet transform associated with compactly supported shearlets. Furthermore, if ?S is a $d?1$ dimensional piecewise smooth manifold with $d=2$ or 3, we will classify smooth and non-smooth components of ?S. This improves previous results given for shearlet systems with a certain band-limited generator, since the estimates we derive are uniform. Moreover, we will show that our bounds are optimal. Along the way, we also obtain novel results on the characterization of wavefront sets in 3 dimensions by compactly supported shearlets. Finally, geometric properties of ?S such as curvature are described in terms of the continuous shearlet transform of f.
